Since 1990, Purpose Driven Transport has been the premier Auto Drive-Away Service in Southern California. In that time, we have moved over 500,000 vehicles for our clients. PDT moves vehicles of all types safely and efficiently throughout Southern California. We serve a wide range of industries, from commercial fleets, fleet management companies, upfitters, dealerships, vehicle OEMs and many more with prompt, safe and professional transportation and logistics. In addition to point-to-point transportation, we offer a wide array of ancillary services to ensure vehicles are road-ready at delivery or redeployment.
Whether it's coming to you or going to the auction, we get these vehicles moved quickly. We contact the appropriate parties to verify availability and schedule pick-up and delivery to your dealership. Lease returns are usually delivered to you within 24 hours of placing the order and sometimes in as little 2 to 3 hours.
PDT offers safe and secure storage to accommodate its clients’ needs for short- and long-term vehicle storage. If you have surplus vehicles, a vehicle waiting to be delivered to a new customer or upfitter, we can safely and securely store your vehicle, offering proactive monitoring until it is redeployed.

Unlike most other drive-away services, we do not use independent contractors to which we have no authority on how they perform their jobs. Our drivers are employees. They are extensively trained on a continuous basis and are required to maintain a perfect driving record, have no criminal record, and must pass a drug screen and background check. They are dedicated to performing their duties at an exceptional level and share our company’s commitment to superb customer service
Our drivers conduct a thorough inspection every time they pick up a vehicle. They inspect for cosmetic damage both inside and out. They also inspect for loose items such as owner’s manuals, spare tire, jack & tools, etc. or as requested by the client. If any damage is found or items are missing, it is digitally documented, and the client is immediately notified. This allows the client to quickly view the damage and make a decision regarding its delivery.
Communication is key to keeping our client’s mind at ease. If something happens that causes a delay, our clients are notified immediately and kept informed every step of the way. In addition, they receive electronic notifications immediately upon pick-up and delivery of their vehicle.
We are a CA Licensed and Bonded Transporter. We maintain a $1,000,000 liability and physical damage insurance policy. Your vehicle is covered and your assets are protected.
